We need D Line improvement .......
#1
The Georgia D-Line fell to No. 18 in the nation against the run last season after five years in the No. 1 or No. 2 spot.

You’re going to see Christen Miller kick it up about two notches in his game and he’s going to be an impact, play-wrecking defensive linemen for Georgia in 2024.

Nazir Stackhouse is a guy that could have gone pro last year and probably would have been a late-second or third-round pick. Nazir is coming back hoping to do what Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt did when they came back for 2021, which was move themselves into the first round and help lead Georgia to a national title.

Was not impressed by Mykel Williams performance all season long. We think he’s going to make up, he’s going to be one of the sack leaders on this Dawgs team and he’s a veteran with tons of experience and projected NFL first-round pick. He is going to play more outside linebacker this season, as Williams said he expects to line up 66 percent of the time on the defensive line, and about a third of the time at outside linebacker.

I concur.........they gonna need to step up to compete with Ohio State and Longhorn's payroll.  A&M is some kind of an enigma......not sure why their revenue hasn't allowed them to own collegiate football during this new era....almost want to see them beat Notre Dame in season opener, but worried once they get a taste of winning, might not slow down.

definitely - last year's DL play was perplexing. You knew there would be a dropoff without Carter, but they didn't play as well last year as they did without Carter when he was injured in 2022. Talent is there, and there have been moments when Stackhouse, Miller, Williams, TID, and Brinson have looked awesome. But none of them looked awesome on about half of our plays last year. The thing those previous years that made us so great is the 3 or 4 DL could hold their own and even get penetration without linebacker help. So when you did blitz a LB or DB, they usually had open turf to get to the passer. Teams were much more able to pick up the additional pressure last year. I think we might have been a tad predictable as well.
