Dude was absolutely driving me nuts watching the Tech/FSU game. I worry that this ESPN/ABC deal is going to have us longing for the old days of listening to Gary butcher names and run his mouth incessantly. No doubt they are going to put some women on the call for several of our games, and I just don't want to listen to that at all. I'll use a delay radio and listen to Scott yell when I can. At least he pronounces names right and calls the game like a good homer should.

I've been watching games with the sound muted for years. The nonstop drivel that comes out of all the announcers mouths really takes away from the game for me. I'm sure ABC/ESPN will be all woke all the time and have women announcers and trans announcers and every kind of announcer imaginable except for good announcers. I don't see any reason to subject myself to bad announcers when I don't have to.

I hope ESPN gets better with their camera angles and views. Some of the games they broadcast the camera is so far from the field it feels like I am watching from the 600 level in Sanford. That is one thing CBS did a very good job with.
