I was about 1/2 mile from the school (returning to Athens from a trip to my parents this morning). 26 police cars passed me on 316 going the opposite way. It was kinda wild.

4 killed and 9 injured last I heard. Sad shame and it will be used for political reasons (already is).

I hate that it was one of my first thoughts.  It seems there has been one of these right before the last 3 elections. 

And had my ex and I not split, one my ex step-daughters would have been there today.  That is where they were enrolled.

A friend of a friend is a coach there. He was shot and it shattered his hip. In surgery. Let's lift the guy and his family in prayer. Got a long road ahead of him. Pretty sure he is a UGA grad

Word is the shooter was wearing a go pro.
Now hearing the defensive coordinator on the team was also shot. He didn’t make it out of surgery. DJD.

The parents of the Oxford MI shooter both got prison. Hope this is a trend.

14 year old Colt Gray was the shooter

One of the victims was Richard Aspinwall
 He was DC for the football team.

All 3 of my boys graduated highschool st Apalachee. My youngest teaches World History at Winder Barrow.

This one hits close to home. I'm mad and very sad.

This kid is pure evil. Evil is getting younger and younger. One 9th grade student said he kicked in the door of her classroom, shot 4 or 5 times, hitting two of her classmates, then laughed as he turned and walked away.

I shudder to think what drove this child to think this was an answer. I am not excusing anything he did, it was wrong and should NEVER be considered, but something drove this kid to think this was an answer to whatever issues he’s faced/seen/experienced. His mental state is obviously not in a place one would consider healthy.
