I remember that game well. I was there and it was a complete ass whipping. That game and the 2009 game preacherman lost in Athens made me dislike Kentucky a great deal.

I'm guessing $47k then was about like $250k now.  That seems low even for back then.  I remember a HS buddy graduated from tech as a mechanical engineer in 1983 and his first job paid him $24k a year.  We all thought he was set for life at that salary.
