Fine food good. When this place start blocking free speech they said f it. A lot of others did too. Saw them both at a game last year. That hate this place. Zero chance they ever be back.

Speech here has always been at the discretion of the Mods. Was pretty funny how quickly those rugged individuals whipped out their victim card, though.

In the beginning, the internet was supposed to be the great bastion of free thought and free speech.  Everyone was going to be able to have a voice and a platform to speak their mind on any issue they wanted to.

That lasted maybe 2 years before the internet went full "1984".  Now, it's a place where everyone gets offended and demands that everyone else be banned.

I wonder if Junny B still thinks Ted Cruz would be ineligible for POTUS. Junny runs a fine cut and paste account on X. He'd be King of the Lounge.

You can speak as freely you like online as long as you own the server and host your own site

Yeah, it's pretty much like the pre internet days when the mainstream tv and radio media and newspapers decided what stories the public got to know about and what opinions were published in the letters to the editors.

Not exactly.  The server space and ad dollars that help keep this place going, regulate to an extent what goes on HOTD and what needs to be in the Lounge.  As mods, we try to work the middle keeping as much as possible on HOTD while protecting The Todd's ad dollars.
