Replaced a garage door opener today by myself because I'm a MAN

5 beers, 2.3 hours of McGruber.  Mostly due to getting the previous wiring correct.  Didn't start on the beers till halfway.  These new ones are SO MUCH QUIETER.  Not sure why I didn't do it sooner.

I went with a Genie 1 1/4HP belt drive. I'm so amazed I'm doing the other one next weekend. The belt drive shat is so quiet all you hear is the rollers banging around. $200 with a battery backup, keypad for outside and 2 transmitters.

Holler at me - could probably solve a few issues ahead of time with the wiring if you have pre-existing to make it a little easier.
