Woof™..........

Despite the ITA All-Americans opening action with pre-qualifying rounds on Saturday, all five Lady Bulldogs were selected to the qualifying or main draw rounds in both singles and doubles play. In doubles, the defending NCAA Doubles National Champions in Dasha Vidmanova and Aysegul Mert, as well as the #7-ranked tandem of Guillermina Grant and Mai Nirundorn, all secured main draw selections and will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in the round of 32. In singles, #2 Vidmanova and #47 Nirundorn earned main draw spots and will begin competition on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in the round of 64. #75 Guillermina Grant, #94 Aysegul Mert and Sofia Rojas will begin play on Monday, Sept. 23 in the qualifying draw round of 64.

Georgia men's tennis player Niels Ratiu advanced in the prequalifying consolation draw of the ITA Men's All-American Championships while Freddy Blaydes and Filipe Costa each fell in the round of 64 of the prequalifying draw.

Powered by Summer Denigan's first-half goal and nine saves from Jordan Brown, the University of Georgia soccer team (5-3-2, 1-1-0 SEC) earned its first Southeastern Conference victory of the season in a 1-0 shutout over Vanderbilt (5-1-3, 0-1-1 SEC) before 427 spectators Sunday at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex. With the win, Georgia has now defeated Vanderbilt in consecutive matchups for the first time since the 2014 and 2015 seasons. It was also Georgia's first victory in Nashville since the 2015 meeting. Facing consistent pressure from the Commodore attack, Brown tallied nine saves, her second-most of the season, as she posted her 16th career shutout. Vanderbilt outshout Georgia, 18-10, including a 9-5 advantage in shots on frame, while also earning 12 corner kicks, a season-high allowed by the Bulldogs. Georgia remains on the road to face No. 20 Kentucky on Thursday, Sept. 26 in Lexington.

Good morning, Dawg brothers and sisters! Today is yet another gift from God!
John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
