Channeling years of Larry Munson and lasting scars, I fully expect a loss…
#1
And I hate that I feel that way.

There’s no reason we shouldn’t win this game…but, it’s Bama…

I was in the stands in ‘18 and I fully expect this game to come to a final possession where someone gets a miracle TD or makes or misses a field goal.  I’m not expecting us or them to blow the other out.    This will be a soul stealing, gut wrenching, to be talked about for years type of loss for someone.   There’s gonna be some bad calls and a controversial play.   They’ll be a torturous turnover and a crazy “no way” that could happen play.

I’d love for us to be on the good side of this one for a change and I sure hope I’m wrong and we are.   But, I’m so damn emotionally invested the only good way of coping is to expect the heart breaking loss.

On the positive side, and the side that truly matters…our team has had a great week of practice.   Word is expect the offense to look more like Clemson and the second half of Kentucky vs. 1st half.   We are getting some guys healthy and we will pull out everything in the bag for this one.   I’m expecting us to establish the run, but, we will take shots…if they hit, this game could go our way.    One thing is for sure, Kirby has had this game circled for a while.    This one is personal for him.    He’s been a man on a mission at practice and has the players and coaches on edge.   THEY expect to win.    It’s been an US against the world all week.    He’s had the ammo he so badly wanted and needed.    The Milroe “they quit” comment has been drilled into the defense with a hammer drill.

We will see what happens.

We aren't going in there with a coach that thinks his job is to be a youth pastor and a bunch of try hard likable kids who wouldn't be starting on any other SEC team like years past. I'm all in for this game. I'm driving thru a hurricane to get there. I EXPECT US to win. Get your minds right.

I'd say Dawgs win a close one...I'm not convinced Bama's D is up to snuff. Frankly, I'm not even sure what a swarming defensive scheme is. If JC-Dawg can text Bobo the plays that should be called, I am confident Dawgs win 27-24

Several unconfirmed rumors out of Butt Smear this week that JC has been meeting privately with Bobo.   (no Costco Baby oil involved - for those following the Ditty saga).

It's not known at this point whether JC is negotiating the terms of Bobo's departure or if Bobo is just getting coached up on how a top tier SEC offense should function.  Either way, it should turn out good for the Dawgs.

I do hope Beck can hit more than 18% of his 20 yard plus passes that he's done for the first three games.

A couple of quick long completions would certainly loosen up the Bama defense for our RBs.
