... dang water in the basement. It isn't like epic flooding or nothing like that. But it will definitely take a few days to dry out.

We had the big floods of 2009 in this sorta-general area. There was this narrow band of rainfall that came up through parts of Douglas, Cobb, and Paulding counties where they said it rained 16" in just 24 hours! We got water in the basement for the first time ever with that mega-downpour. Well, we got it again overnight with this recent bought of monsoonesque rain.

We've had big rains many times over the years where we didn't get a drop of water in the basement. There must be some line of demarcation that must be quite high that only these epic monsoons are able to cross.
John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
