TULSA, Okla. – One Bulldog advanced at the ITA Men's All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Saturday. Main Draw – Consolation R16
No. 14 Thomas Paulsell def. No. 24 Jeremy Jin (Florida) Main Draw – Consolation QF  He then def. No. 26 Dhakshineswar Suresh (Wake Forest) Main Draw Doubles Consolation R16 No. 72 Tacchi/Pow (Wake Forest) def. No. 2 Blaydes/Ratiu Paulsell will face No. 5 Colton Smith (Arizona) in the semifinals of the singles main draw consolation stage. 

The No. 6 University of Georgia equestrian team fell to No. 1 TCU, 8-10, in the season opener at the UGA Equestrian Complex on Saturday. The Bulldogs outscored TCU, 4-1, to win Flat. Senior Catalina Peralta recorded the highest score for Georgia with an 89. The Horned Frogs bested Georgia in Reining by a score of 3-0. Sophomore Kennedy Buchanan led the Bulldogs with a 72 to push her point. TCU edged out the Bulldogs in Fences 3-2. Sophomore Tessa Downey rode to an 88 to win her point and tally the highest score in the event for Georgia. The Horned Frogs defeated Georgia 3-2 in Horsemanship to close out the meet. Freshman Shaelyn Boutelle posted the Bulldogs' highest score with a 77 to win her point. Most Outstanding Performer honors were awarded to junior Tessa Brown for her performance in Fences. She recorded a score of 86 to win her point for Georgia. Georgia will next host No. 2 SMU and No. 3 Texas A&M at the UGA Equestrian Complex on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19, respectively. Admission is free.

Cary, N.C. — Dasha Vidmanova earned two victories on the day to advance to the main draw consolation semifinals at the ITA Women's All-American Championships at the Cary Tennis Park on Saturday. Vidmanova opened the day off with a statement victory in the main draw singles consolation round of 16, cruising past Tennessee's #81 Catherine Aulia, to advance to the consolation quarterfinal. Playing her second match of the day, she picked up right where she left off, setting the tone early in the first set before securing a win over Stanford's #4 Connie Ma in the Main Draw consolation QF. Vidmanova will return to action on Sunday where she will compete in the singles main draw consolation semifinal, where she will face Old Dominion's #37 Sofia Johnson at 10 a.m. ET.

Georgia soccer, now ranked 31st in the NCAA RPI rankings, returns home to Athens for a matchup with Alabama Sunday at the Turner Soccer Complex.
