We live off North Belair Road, in Northwood. No power for 10 days…tomorrow will be 11.

Off Milledge Rd.  I have a generator too but it won't run house AC.  Boredom and sadness have been the worst things.  The damage around here is unreal because of the huge trees that fell.  Seeing the damage to neighbors houses is depressing.

My heart goes out to all of you folk who are experiencing this. I know that there are power crews from all over the country, and some even from Canada, who have come to help restore power. It is a monumental effort, though... obviously. I'm guessing that in many situations they're basically building entire areas from new... not repairing, per se, just building it all over again.
