Considering they are running the triple option, I'd say it's an apples to oranges comparison.

The best I've seen of this year's OL was the second half of the Clemson game. Pretty average the rest of this season. I do believe UGA played 3 teams with good defenses so maybe things will loosen up soon. Problem is a lot of missed blocks and too many penalties.

From what I've seen so far, we don't really have an elite group at any position. We are good but we aren't close to 2021 or 2022 as far as talent.

Going forward, teams with the best hired gun talent are going to be at the top. The days of developing talent are pretty much over imo. Honestly, I'm not overly interested in watching the college version of the NFL with open free agency every season. College football had a good run. |
