This season continues to be Mr. Toad's wild ride and may get wilder...
#1
It's the second time in 3-4 years that we are entering a game and I feel like we could win or get hammered...or anything in between.

This is a unique team on several levels.   We look as good or better than anyone getting off the bus.  By all accounts we have enough 4-5 stars to be THE top team.   However, for the first time in a long, long time...I feel like we are getting out coached on the regular.  The good news is...the man in charge knows it.   He's not happy about it either!  This is why I made the comments below about coaching changes coming this off season.    I fully expect you will see two on the defensive side....UGA isn't playing up to Kirby's standard and someone will lose their jobs over it.

From Saturday...

The good:

I felt like we made some strides Saturday and I'm gonna go all in and say it was Bobo's best effort YTD.  The imagination, variety and timing were really good.   Take away a couple of mistakes and we put up 50.

Starting to see some guys emerge.   7, 16, and 3 are players...

I hate to put his in the good category, but, Kirby is loyal to a fault.   I would have benched 22 and told him to get healthy or ready to play.   We kept running him out there...Kirby knows more than me.   At any rate...injury showed up and I believe we will be better for it.

The Bad:

Beck, still checks down when he has guys open downfield.   We had more guys running open Saturday than I've seen all season.   Lovett was wide open nearly every play.

Sounds like Starks may be making a fairly permanent move to Star.   (this is actually a GOOD thing)

The DB's -
It's time to see what #1 brings to the DBs....no where to go but up.

The Ugly

I hate to keep beating this drum, but, the stadium experience gets worse by the week.  Something is wrong with the sound system and about half the time now, the audio is out of sync.

We need someone to overhaul the whole thing!!

Good stuff, Natty. Definitely need to get more butter in several areas. Kirby's teams usually seem to do that. Hope it's enough.

That's what I'm counting on!   Don't you know he takes it personally when his Db's are burnt toast after a game?   Bama game was what it was...but, this one may be the "direction" game for the rest of the season.    Especially if it's not close for some reason.

The optimist in me says we are ready to play and come up big Saturday.
