When does an offensive player that lowers his head get called for targeting?

He’s right. Never is the answer. The rule is stupid. It’s not enforced where the actual crown of the helmet hits. It’s just where helmets have touched each other. You have to kind of lower your head if the other player is lowering his and going low to get more yards . It’s human physics. Otherwise you’re tackling the players head with your chest.

Was the 2nd targeting even helmet to helmet?

They kept saying “he led with the crown of the helmet.”

Looked like we hit their guy in the chest.
