Traded a G43X for a FN Reflex MRD at my LGS
#1
Reflex came with 11 round and 15 round mags, and tritium front sight.  The trigger on the FN is far superior to the Glock, IMO.  I haven’t had the opportunity to go to the range, but will towards the end of the week.  The FN is internal hammer fired in lieu of being striker fired, which makes the trigger pull lighter and much smoother.  The internal hammer also makes the slide easier to rack for my old hands.  The little pistol is pretty impressive so far, but the validation will come at the range.  I’ll post more after going to the range.

I keep the G43 in my car for protection..only complaint at the range is it pulls to the left. It’s a light gun. That said both my girls have the G43 in their cars and have have a lot of time on the range firing and are comfortable shooting it. I also keep my G19 in the trunk of my car. I’m always ready for anything since I drive a lot for my job. Anyone carrying a firearm for protection should feel comfortable firing it, so I respect what you’re saying.

I have a couple of friends that have bought FN 1911 style pistols that they really like.
I’ve never owned or even shot one.

My favorite and my far easiest to shoot and most accurate gun is an FN hi velocity 9mm 1993 Browning. I have a 1973 engraved one two in like new condition, but I never fire it. But Belgium made as opposed to
Some assembled in Portugal. Use a 9mm hi vel Luger round, can easily hit a target 125 ft away

I agree with Punkin. Have a 43 and am not good with it with my big hands. Much prefer the Glock 22 in 40 caliber.
