HILTON HEAD, S.C. —Anastasiia Lopata secured her spot in the ITF Hilton Head W35 singles final after her semifinal victory at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center on Saturday. Coming off four victories heading into Saturday, Lopata played in her second consecutive ITF semifinal, facing off against WTA #811 Kylie McKenzie. Lopata overcame a competitive start to the first set to earn the lead at 6-4 in the opening frame. The Kiev, Ukraine native dropped the second set 0-6, but bounced back in dominant fashion in the third as she never looked back, securing the three-set victory 6-4, 0-6, 6-2 to advance to the singles final. Lopata will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 27 where she will face WTA #304 and top-seed Elvina Kalieva (USA) in the singles final.

Georgia, now ranked 30th in the NCAA RPI rankings, hosts Texas in its 2024 regular season finale, marking the first time a Texas sports team travels to Athens as an SEC member. Sunday's match marks the second-annual Alumni Day at Turner Soccer Complex, with over 30 former student-athletes returning to Athens to be recognized at halftime. Sunday's match also marks the final regular-season home match (and potentially final home match) for 12 graduate and senior Bulldogs. Sunday's match is Kick or Treat at Turner Soccer Complex. The first 500 spectators to stay through halftime will receive a Halloween-themed T-shirt. The complex plaza will also feature prizes and games for younger spectators. Free Admission: All matches at Turner Soccer Complex are free. No tickets are required for admission.

Georgia volleyball returns to Stegeman Coliseum to open a three-match homestand this Sunday welcoming the LSU Tigers. First serve between the Bulldogs and Tigers is set for 2 p.m. Sunday's match will stream live on SEC Network+. Admission is FREE to all regular-season home volleyball matches. Gates open one hour prior to first serve. The first 30 fans to enter through Gate A at Stegeman Coliseum will receive a wristband and can sit court side. Food and beverage will be provided for those fans. Georgia trails the all-time series 29-40. The Bulldogs are 15-17 against LSU in Athens in the series. Georgia has won the last five meetings dating back to 2021. Georgia hosts Tennessee on Friday, Nov. 1 and No. 14 Kentucky on Nov. 3 to wrap up its homestand. The Dogs and Lady Vols square off at 7 p.m. on Friday with Sunday's match set for 2 p.m. Georgia then begins a four-match road stretch beginning Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Missouri.
