Should be fines on both the school and the player’s NIL money (if any).

Fines are stupid imo.  How will they know if an injury is fake unless it is foolishly blatant like the Bama one.

Simple solution is to make the injured player sit out until a change of possession.  For player safety of course.

That seems excessive. Plenty of times someone gets a cramp and is ready to return a play or two later.

It should be done out of an abundance of caution.  A cramp could lead to a more serious injury.
