Flying during the game
#1
I will be on a cross country flight during the game tomorrow. Has anyone had any luck streaming games through deltas WiFi? I have the youtubetv app on my iPad.

I have used Wifi on some long international flights. They restricted use to things like text messaging-only, and that was very unreliable. But, again, that was with international flights.

I dealt with that a couple of years ago during the Kent St. game.  It was on SEC network or something they didn't have on the screens, so I paid for wifi on the plane, which was okay because I was flying from Hawaii.  The picture quality was less than perfect most of the time. The service was spotty, but I got to see most of the game.  That was a tough game to have interruptions because we struggled to stop them.

The good news is that since this game is on ABC, I believe it is nationally televised, so you should be able to watch it on the screen on the seat if you're flying Delta or someone with tvs.  Otherwise, if the YoutubeTV app acts up for you, you can try the ESPN app.  Sometimes when I have trouble with one, the other works.

Many Delta flights (depending on plane type) have live TV by DirecTV as a part of their IFE, and ABC is one of the channel options so I'd think you could watch the game.  Just need to look and see about the IFE on your particular flight.

Also, if you have no luck with tv, you can download the WSB Radio app and at least stream the radio broadcast with a paid wifi plan.

WSB may restrict it if you are outside the listening area. Georgia Bulldogs app is free everywhere
