ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia men's tennis team will add Georgia native Cooper Johnson beginning in the spring, head coach Jamie Hunt announced on Thursday. Johnson, from Cumming, Ga., is a five-star recruit out of Windward Tennis Academy. He has career-high recruiting rankings of No. 1 in the state of Georgia and No. 21 in the nation. Johnson holds a Universal Tennis Rating of 11.9 and a 3-2 record against other five-star recruits. He also holds a junior ITF ranking of 3,157 and ITF World Tennis Number of 16.5
FRESNO, Calif – The sixth-ranked University of Georgia equestrian team defeated No. 7 Fresno State, 10-5, at the Student Horse Center in Fresno, Calif. Friday afternoon. Georgia (4-2, 2-0 SEC) traveled to the West Coast for a pair of meets. The Bulldogs topped UC Davis Thursday morning, 13-7, and remain undefeated in road contests.
