ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia soccer team was awarded a No. 7 seed in the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, earning three consecutive bids for only the second time in program history (2007-09). Georgia (8-6-6, 3-3-4 SEC) will play in the Los Angeles Regional and will face Colorado on Friday, Nov. 15 at 4:30 p.m. at the Turner Soccer Complex. Friday's match will mark the third-straight tournament opener in Athens, a program first. If Georgia advances to the Second Round, it will take on the winner of Friday's Wake Forest-Morehead State match next Friday. Georgia, one of a record 10 SEC teams to earn a selection, is making its 12th tournament appearance, entering the 64-team field with a 9-10-2 all-time record in the event. In its history, the program has hosted five NCAA Tournament matches, including wins over Wake Forest (1997), Alabama A&M (2007), Samford (2022), and Liberty (2023). The Bulldogs defeated Liberty, 2-1, in the first round and Iowa, 3-2, in the second round to reach the Round of 16 for only the third time in program history.

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia basketball team returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts North Florida at Stegeman Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. UNF arrives in Athens with a 3-0 record including road wins at South Carolina and Ga. Tech. Georgia is riding a 20-game non-conference winning streak at Stegeman Coliseum.

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia head softball coach Tony Baldwin has announced the full slate of games for the upcoming 2025 softball season. The 2025 campaign will be the fourth under the direction of Baldwin and his staff. Softball Right Here.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Both ESPN's College GameDay and the SEC Network's SEC Nation will be on the University of Georgia campus for this coming weekend's showdown between No. 3 Georgia and No. 7 Tennessee. The Bulldogs and Volunteers will kick off on Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium on Saturday on ABC at 7:30 p.m., marking Georgia's first home game since Oct. 12.  Prior to the matchup, College GameDay will be live from Myers Quad from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. while SEC Nation will originate from the Special Collections Library from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The Special Collections Library will also be home to The Paul Finebaum Show with #FinebaumFriday live from 3-7 p.m. This is just the seventh time that GameDay and SEC Nation are visiting the same game site in the regular season.  The Bulldogs have already been featured in three of those contests: Florida vs. Georgia (2018), Kentucky at Georgia (2021) and Tennessee at Georgia (2022). The trip marks College GameDay's 10th all-time visit to Athens. Georgia has gone 7-2 in those matchups, including its 52-17 rout of Ole Miss in 2023.  Overall, it is slated to be the Bulldogs' 38th appearance on the show, the sixth most of any team.
