ATHENS, Ga. – The Bulldog cross country teams are set to compete at the NCAA South Regionals on Friday, arriving in Tallahassee, Fla., for their second postseason meet of the year. The meet will take place at Apalachee Regional Park with Florida State serving as the host. The Bulldogs will look to send team or individual qualifiers to the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wis., with strong performances at the regional meet. The top two teams for each gender from each of the nine regions will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships. The top four individuals not on those qualifying teams will also receive automatic bids to Wisconsin. Additionally, 13 teams and two individuals nationwide from each gender will receive at-large bids, which are set to be revealed during the NCAA Division I Cross Country Selection Show on Saturday at 5 p.m.
