Politically charged topic with it heading down the wrong track. Rather than allowing it to go down that path and having to delete, I locked so others could see the reaction. Admittedly, I may have erred on the side of caution. I too am relieved with the verdict.

I thought this board was mostly for UGA/Braves/Falcons/other sports, and important news and member/poster issues and concerns. No worries...

I would agree that it mostly is.  I can’t speak for everyone, but current events are certainly welcome as long as they aren’t polarizing or blatantly political…or heading in that direction.  I think of it as a “conversation board.”  Topics are going to vary with a main focus on sports.  Just my 2 cents.  I’d be interested to hear other opinions.

I think of the Lounge as hard politics and more controversial topics.  BWDIK?  I’m just a poster.

As a mod I have two primary reasons for moving or removing posts.

1. Violations of the clearly written board rules

2. Something that Server owners would object to and could adversely effect The Todd’s income stream from ad dollars.

Confession. At least a couple of times I may have erred on the side of caution. I’m human.
