ORLANDO, Fla. — Despite a team-high 15 points from freshman guard Trinity Turner, the Georgia women's basketball team lost to the Penn State Lady Lions, 67-47, Saturday in the final game of the WBCA Showcase. 

NASSAU, Bahamas — The Georgia Bulldogs (5-1) fell to the No. 15 Marquette Golden Eagles (6-0), 80-69, on Saturday morning at the Imperial Arena at Atlantis. Four scorers reached double figures led by sophomore guard Blue Cain's season-high 17 points on the day. Georgia will face its second top-25 opponent in a 26-hour span on Sunday morning when the Bulldogs face No. 22/20 St. John's at 11 a.m. in the Imperial Arena at Atlantis Paradise Island.

WACO, Texas —Dasha Vidmanova advanced to the NCAA Singles Championships title match with a semifinal victory over Michigan's Julia Fliegner at the Hurd Tennis Center on Saturday.
[*]With the win, Vidmanova reaches the NCAA singles title match for the first time in her career and becomes the seventh Bulldog in program history to reach the national singles final, marking a second-consecutive season with a Georgia women's tennis player reaching the title match (2024 - Anastasiia Lopata). With a win, Vidmanova would become the only Bulldog in program history to win both the NCAA singles and doubles title (won doubles title with Aysegul Mert in 2024). 

ATHENS, Ga. --- Hours after locking down their ninth win of the year, the Bulldogs have now clinched their spot in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Dec. 7, according to a league announcement. Georgia officially clinched its spot in its 12th SEC Championship Game following losses from both Alabama and Texas A&M on Saturday.  The Bulldogs' opponent has not been decided yet.  Georgia has won 14 SEC titles dating back to 1942 and is 4-7 in SEC Championship Games.  The Bulldogs last posted a win in the Championship Game in 2022.  Kickoff for the SEC Championship Game will be at 4 p.m.  This will be Georgia's second trip to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium this year after the Bulldogs opened the season with a 34-3 rout of then No. 14 Clemson.
