Thought of him yesterday watching Scorsese's Rolling Thunder documentary. He always said that was his favorite Dylan era.

I surely understand those feelings of loss. Somethings just can not be replaced and those beautiful  memories are unexpressed feelings of love that remain with us. Eat an extra helping of greens just for UJD. I know you miss him dearly. Celebrate him today with the family. 


 I will have also have an empty chair at the Thanksgiving for the first time. . My daughter and I were preparing the table last night for dinner today. Got the traditional table cloth, center piece and the special Thanksgiving dishes out.  We eat dinner at a table that has been in my wife's family for about 90 years. My daughter got to her Mama's spot at the table and was overcome with memories and stories of past Thanksgivings. So much love has sat around that table. My bride's favorite was sweet potato soufflé , that may be all that I eat today.
