I can speak for that crowd and say Ladd was an anomaly and definitely wasn’t a 5Star top of his class WR. When people say elite I think of the Williams kid from Bama or George Pickens (who missed a lot of our games but was elite). I think if you look at our WR’s this year who are you calling elite? Arian Smith?
Dillon Bell is good in my book but there’s no way you’re gonna double team him with your coverage.
Lovett is hit or miss. But again, he’s a transfer. I would have to say our WR’s aren’t scaring the college football world. I really thought Bell would eventually become the man this year but he has a tendency to go missing in key moments. I don’t know why we can’t get 2 great pass catchers on one team. Maybe everyone says that too.
