ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia volleyball team stunned 18th-ranked Florida on Saturday afternoon at Stegeman Coliseum, defeating the Gators in four sets (16-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-23). This is Georgia's first win over Florida in Athens since Oct. 26, 2008. It's the seventh victory over a ranked opponent for Tom Black in his Georgia tenure. Georgia concludes the season 12-14 overall and 6-10 in SEC play. Sophie Fischer and Erykah Lovett have been named to the 2024 All-Southeastern Conference Teams, the league announced Sunday. Fischer garnered First Team honors, the third All-SEC honor in her career. Lovett picked up her first-career all-conference honors, earning a spot on the Second Team.
