There's security footage on Twitter of the UHC CEO being shot.

Dude walks behind him and shoots him in the back and then 2 or 3 more times. Also looks like he's using a suppressor.

When a shooter is waiting on you at 6:45 in the morning outside a hotel, walks up to you, shoots you, walks around the corner to an alley where he has a bicycle waiting and rides off, it probably isn't a random act of violence or a robbery gone bad.

Agreed

More and more, it’s time to move to rural acreage and get off the grid.

I strongly suspect it was someone who had a family member who had a claim denied and subsequently died. When someone has nothing to lose anymore they lose it. Surprised more CEO's have been taken out for decisions like claim denial or layoffs. Not saying it is right but as businesses become more cut throat towards customers and employees there are people who dispense street justice in response.

I've heard several say they were gonna do something violent to a corporate bigshot.  None of the ones I know ever came close to following through on their threats.  Just blowing off steam.
Some of the corporate bigshots probably deserve the street justice.

Rumor is he was a witness in a doj trial.

Something else in addition to the silencer mentioned above. He racks after each shot, suggesting subsonic rounds in addition to silencer. This wasn’t someone disgruntled, this was a professional level, teams quality hit job. The backpack also suggests a change of clothes and biked to central park where there are fewer cameras to change clothes and melt into new york. No point in looking for him. He’s out of town, and likely out of the country.

Reports say it was an e-bike too.  I can't think of a much better way to get around NYC quickly than an e-bike.

Pro hit for sure.
