Some buzz out there that Beck's injury may not be as catastrophic as originally feared and he could be back for Orange Bowl...

Nothing confirmed, of course...or is this Kirby gamesmanship?

I think the page may be turned on this one. Momentum shifted when Gunner came in and I really think it would be a bad idea if it continues with us beating ND/Indiana, to switch for the orange bowl. However, I don't get paid 14M a year to make that decision hahaha.

I can see it. The team started clicking and we started moving the ball when he came in for the second half.
We had more yards on Stocktons first series than the entire first half vs Tejas. Effort from the team was much better. Even AS11 was catching passes.
I am also a proponent of 'ever what it takes'. I just want the win, even if we have to sacrifice hearts to the Incan sun god.

The team has been better in the second half all year. There is a reason Beck has been the starter all year. If he is healthy he should play.

Third in yards, first in TDs in the conference. I'll ride with that.

Wouldn’t be the first time.  See Bennett, Stetson.

If Stockton looks good in the Sugar, I say keep riding him no matter what happens with Beck. JD's injury opened the door for SBIV and he and the team never looked back. I'm fine if it happens again.

Not sure he's built to be a QB. How big are his hands?

Matters not.  Kirby has secret weapon.  "And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that, with it, Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits in Thy mercy.'"

Not sure about his hands but he must have a pretty big codsack after that fake punt from our own 30.
