ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia's No. 2-ranked football team featured three players on the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team, according to a league announcement on Thursday. Safety KJ Bolden, linebacker Chris Cole and running back Nate Frazier were all included on the conference's first-year squad.

ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia women's golf program has signed junior transfer Vilde Nystrøm to its spring 2025 roster, head coach Erika Brennan announced on Thursday. A native of Stavanger, Norway, Nystrøm arrives in Athens following two seasons at the University of North Carolina, where she helped the Tar Heels earn NCAA Regional bids in each of the last two seasons, including an NCAA Championship appearance in 2023-24. 

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia football linebacker Jalon Walker has been named the winner of the 2024 Butkus Award, The Butkus Foundation has announced. The Butkus Award, named after legendary linebacker Dick Butkus, is an annual college football award given to the nation’s best linebacker by The Butkus Foundation. Other finalists for the award this season were Clemson’s Barrett Carter, Oklahoma’s Danny Stutsman, Ole Miss’ Chris Paul Jr., and UCLA’s Carson Schwesinger.
