He makes perfect sense, as a business man. Am wondering does the 'college' then 'own' the player, meaning he can't decide to stop going here, to go there? Even if offered an increase to change schools? I guess if the owner is losing money he can dump the team. Then a bidding war to purchase it. I don't like it now, (NIL, portals ,etc.) I sure won't care for it if this.

I am not shooting the messenger WRGA, but this is an awful idea. I already hate the portal. I am not even sure that recruiting matters as much unless we are going to a point where every freshman has to be a starter in order to stay.
