Athens, GA. - The Lady Bulldogs basketball team host UNCG, marking the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The Spartans come into Monday's game with a 7-3 record. Georgia enters the contest with a 5-5 record following a 12-day exam break. Georgia welcomes over 4,100 elementary school students from across the area for its annual Elementary School Day Game on Monday. Tip time is set for 11 a.m. at Stegeman Coliseum. Free admission for children 12 and under. Tickets for children 12 and under are free in the upper general admission area with the purchase of an adult ticket. It was recently announced that Georgia inked the No.18-ranked recruiting class in 2025, marking the second-straight year the team has signed a top-20 class. Georgia was the only SEC team to sign four ESPN top-100 prospects in 2024 -- a class that ranked No. 16 nationally.

BUDAPEST, Hungary – Five members of the University of Georgia swimming and diving teams traveled to Budapest to represent their nations at the 2024 World Aquatics Short Course (25m) Championships. Sophomore Tomas Koski posted a historic performance to close out competition at the 2024 World Aquatics Short Course Championships Sunday at the Duna Arena. Koski, representing Finland, finished third in the men's 200-meter freestyle prelims with a national-record time of 1:41.92.  In the women's 200m freestyle, senior Logan Watson-Brown, representing Bermuda, finished 31st with a new personal-best time of 2:04.48. In the men's 4x100m medley relay, junior Ruard van Renen finished a strong week with a 50.73 butterfly split, helping South Africa finish 24th with a time of 3:34.72. The No. 7/12 University of Georgia swimming and diving teams return to competition at No. 1/2 Texas on Wednesday, Dec. 18 in Austin.
