Dawgs are should be healthy and rested for a beat-up ND team. Couldn't have worked out better.

Playing the Conference title game only hurts you if you lose. If you look at Conference titles as the first round of the playoff, you play the same number of games to get to the final if you win.

Id rather play in a game that matters than get a first-round game against a soft team. All you are doing there is risking injuries on a team that's going nowhere.

I like that we get a full month to recover, heal up, and practice.

Have to admit tOSU looked really good last night. Texas looked like we can still beat them. I fully expect to be 4-0 vs the hunchbacks.

Plenty on HOTD did not like that risk.

Well, we did lose our 2 year starting QB that's leading the SEC in TD passes and the favorite for the Ray Guy award.

And that couldn't have happened playing someone like Clemson in a survival game? Injuries can happen anytime, and our 2 year starting QB wasn't exactly burning it up. I'm not sure we win that game if he hadn't gone out.

His last 3 attempted passes were INT. called back penalty, INT. called back penalty, injury. The defense saved his ass a bunch this year.

Except for losing our starting qb who there for more passes than any other qb in the league and made at the line adjustments that helped to win two games. I love Gunner. But anyone thinking he’s going from second string to Stetson Bennetts is naive as hell. If we win, it'll the line, the rb's and the D that makes it happen

Totally agree about Gunner, the lines, RBs, and D. I'm speaking more to the guys that have been playing banged up for the last two months.
