Hopefully, the CFP committee will get the seeding right next year.

No way Boise and ASU are top 4 teams worthy of playoff byes.

ASU just took TX to overtime. I understand what you are saying but referencing them won't help the case for change.

With 3 out of 4 Quarterfinals played, the Bye hasn’t been an advantage.

I hope that changes with the DAWGS Game today.

The bye hasn’t been an advantage because Boise and ASU were ranked way to high.

Oregon shouldn’t have been playing OSU in this round either because of the horrible seeds.

#1 got steamrolled by #8 last night. The team that got the bye has lost every game so far.

That’s kind of my point.

OSU should have been seeded 5 or 6 at the worst.

Why should the Mountain West champion get an automatic bye?

Because college football is a DEI type thing, everybody gets a trophy and we have to be "fair" to everyone.  92 teams play in bowls.  There are 129 FBS teams.  Only 37 teams do not play in a bowl game.  This is county rec league level affirmative action level stuff.

Wait until they expand to 16 teams in the playoff so you will have teams like SC in the playoff facing BYU, neither of which even won their division.

The playoff needs to include conference champions and that is it with all games played at neutral sites.
