Also seemed surprised by the suggestion. Again, could all be face-saving, but thought it was interesting that Radi asked him directly and reported it.

I thought (wrongly, I’ll admit) that he would have picked up enough over the years to make an offense just ROLL but this year (and thank God for McConkey and Bowers last year) Has been a struggle just about every game for an entire half. That’s just unacceptable. Is the OL shite? Are the WR’s shite? Are the RB’s just bad? Do we not have any great QB’s? What about this is good other than the TE’s?

I wouldn’t say SHIT show but almost losing to GT, losing to a shitty Bama, losing to Ole Miss, losing to ND in the fashion we did, along with the massive struggle against UK and others would make you whistling past the graveyard to declare everything is fine. There has to be a more nuanced look at what we’ve been through than were one decent player away from figuring this out. We’re closer to a mess than we’ve been since Kirby’s first year.

If you think 21/22 are the standard you are fooling yourself. Those teams were STACKED with talent. It will never be like that again and if that is what you expect year-in and year-out you should just stop watching, because there is only disappointment ahead.
