If he wanted to stay at UGA in a different role, I'd be fine with it. I just don't think he's the right man for that job.

He was a good and useful analyst under Monken.

He just has something missing as a play caller.

He and Searles don't need to be part of the program at all.  Kirby hiring Bobo was charity for his friend and his hiring Searles was just dumb.

Neither one of them were considered "elite" by anyone.  Kirby had brought the program up to elite level but now he has brought it back down to the "good" level with some terrible asst. hires.  Kirby gets paid way too much to allow the program to have assistant coaches with these levels of ineptitude.
