Exactly!! That's why nobody will ever beat Nick's record of success. They won't be able to stand to be around it long enough!!!

I’m hoping he stays around long enough to be UGAs all time winningest coach. Bout 7 more?
Then run for Gov?

How long will fans put up with it?

Losing to ND didn’t bother me nearly as much as other recent playoff / SECCG losses.

While I agree with you, it was how UGA lost to ND that doesn't sit very well with me. I'm quickly losing interest with all the NIL and transfer crap.

This is my feeling exactly.  The SECCG loss to Bama was similar for me.  It wasn't that we lost, it was that we looked inept doing it.  ND was that look exponentially worse.  The fact that I walked away from the ND game without being upset in any way was something of an epiphany for me.  For the first time in 55 years of being an avid Georgia fan, I wasn't bothered in the least by a loss in a big game.  The feeling of connection I had always had with the team was pretty much gone.  I'll still keep up with the games but the passion is pretty well gone.

All the NIL and transfer crap is sickening to me.  It isn't what college football is supposed to be about.  It is more seedy than the NFL and feels very low class.  I guess some people are fine cheering for the laundry but I'm not one of those people.  "UGA football" doesn't feel much like UGA football always did to me anymore, it feels like just another sleazy pro sports team where the players are doing a job and nothing more.  I honestly could not care less about all the portal activity.  To me, it has the feel of a bunch of Johns (college teams) chasing a bunch of whores (players in the portal) trying to get the prettiest one.

Kirby makes approximately 32k PER DAY. What are you willing to do, and for how long, for that amount?

If I had the nest egg he had, would have already hung it up.

I sure wouldn't be doing it much longer having to deal with the new landscape of college football.

I could put up with a lot of crap for 11 mil plus per year. Not sure my body could take the hours involved

The real question is, when does CKS think he has enough money to offset his desire for coaching.

I doubt he coaches until 72 as Saban did, but who knows?

At this point, how much coaching is Kirby actually doing?  I would think he has to be getting tired of dealing with transfers, roster issues, discipline issues and the NIL debacle.
