I don't love the graphics and I wish the field was natural grass but at least now it looks like we take baseball somewhat seriously.

It looks like they're even using fake dirt on the main part of the infield around the bases. I absolutely hate that. Turf over the whole field is bad enough, but fake dirt too? is this an indoor teeball setup?

Hated it when I saw Vandy and Ky have it.  Hate much more that UGA has it.  Terrible idea and decision

Looks fake.

Foley grass used to look and feel like baseball.

This doesn’t.

My level of dislike for this is not rationale, but I'm in agreement with you.

Wonder if this is a temporary thing?  I seem to recall they are doing 2 phases of renovations?

Wes Johnson specifically asked for it to be added on to this reno project.  He said it would save them time having to maintain and clean up things before/during/after practice, so the AD pulled the trigger.

Interesting video.  Don't think I ever saw it before today.  Filmed by 4 students at the Bishop Ford Central High School in Brooklyn.  The school closed in 2014 due to significant enrollment decline (was something going on with the Catholic Church back then?) and $4 million in debt, the building now used by the NY public school system and houses a pre K and Middle school.

Stipe's creepiness in the video stood out to me a bit.
