It appears that losing MustCuss's full-time input hurt our D. Losing Bobo will hurt our recruiting and our overall O. Angry playcalling criticism is like yelling at casino denizens calling colors and numbers at the roulette wheels. It is tough work and most folks are poor at it. 

I found no true value in Monken. He did not play well with others, especially his world-champ QB.  Stetson raised the level of play of those around him. He could focus with the best and showed (not taught) his receivers, backs, and linemen how to focus too. Playcallers have to find plays to call that the offense can execute crisply and that the opposing defenses defend poorly. 

Coach Smart has far more to do with playcalling than many realize. Right now the dissension in the admin vs. field coaching ranks is deadly. El Presidente wants more money. He thinks he knows football. He does not. He also does not comprehend how teenagers think. I worry that Coach Smart will say, "Well flock you then!"  Josh is no help--simply put, he is just hired help. 

Carson Cavinder is thankfully gone. He and Mom were a pestilence, IMO. As I heard Coach Smart say, (paraphrased) "Carson gets too anxious before the games and sometimes he fixes that by getting too relaxed."  Recall the laughing, giggling, and glazed eyes eyes when he was sitting on the bench.

It was a hugely positive move putting Courson upstairs and out to pasture. Now if we can get rid of the injury-inducing Nike clodhoppers (IMO), we can have fewer lower body injuries and faster recoveries. High end insoles such as VKTRY could help.
