In the hospital… had another back surgery

Tongue
Early last year had a tri level fusion L2-L5 that was a real bitch then a few months later had my right hip replaced.., things were okay for a while but was still having nerve pain down both legs… Yesterday, had another fusion L5 and below. There’s not much area left but the swelling is closest to the area that causes nerve pain down both legs…. So far feeling well but we’ll see how much is the pain medication..

Get well soon, old buddy. My back tends to hurt more all over than anywhere else.

Best wishes...

Back surgery would be an absolute last resort for me. I do have some intermittent back pain but a trip to the chiropractor and sometime a visit or 2 to a massage therapist fixes what ails me. I've been lucky to find a chiropractor who's husband is a LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist). A 20 minute session with her is $60 and a 20 minute session with him is just $25.

I've never had an acquaintance have back surgery that didn't have a 2nd one. Most of them had three or four and never became pain free.
