They played what amounted to be one of their best halves of basketball against a top 10 team on the road to take a 9 point lead into the half, only to follow that with what was one of the worst halves of basketball I've ever seen. At one point aTm went on a 20-0 run. The first half was well orchestrated on offense. It was well planned out. They had great plays and great ball movement. It was like a top tier ballet company bringing the audience to tears. In the second half, they came out standing around on the offensive end of the court and turned the ball over and had missed layups, blocks, for the first 10 minutes of the second half. They looked like that team that always loses to the Harlem Globetrotters. What in the hell does he do to them at half time? It's pathetic and terrible to watch.

Aggies D was outstanding in 2nd half.
But no excuse for starting out 1-16 shooting from the field in 2nd half.

Played the first 11 minutes without a field goal. They couldn't set up a play. From the start of the second half, they were playing every possession like they were trying to run out the clock at the end of the game, with the point guard holding the ball beyond the three point line like he was going to set up a play that never got set up. They got into single digits on the shot clock almost every possession at the start of that second half. So frustrating.
aTm had 48 points in the paint, but we only played Cyril 10 minutes in the entire game. When he was in, we were a different team on defense, but Mike White's plan made it look like he had money on the game.

I know y'all are joking, but the men's bball program still makes money. In 2023, they had revenues of $13 million. NOI was probably around $5-6 million, but still, someone has to pay for those 50 equestrian scholarships and moving horses all over the country to compete. If they make a tournament, they pull in quite a bit of money for every round they advance. 2024 numbers aren't out yet, but making it to the final four of the NIT last year probably earned them another few million bucks.

Equestrian doesn't move horses anywhere. The host team provides the horses for everyone, horses are selected by blind draw. That said, anything to do with horses is a money losing proposition.

I wondered about that. Makes sense, I guess. I would be nervous as hell working with a horse for some of that stuff having never ridden it.

The NFL is the biggest drawl in our country. It's a complete beast. If it loses a few thousand viewers here and there...it don't matter.
Good job
