I read that a couple days ago. Sanford always had the potential to be loud and hostile but the team rarely gave the fans a reason to be until Kirby came along. I remember some games during the Donnan and Richt years where Sanford was crazy loud but those type games were more "one offs" than the rule. Now, pretty much every game that isn't a cupcake is loud.
