BATON ROUGE, LA. - No. 7 LSU was without star senior forward Aneesah Morrow because of a foot injury, but the Tigers still stepped all over Georgia 79-63. It was their 26th win of season at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Thursday night.

ATHENS, Ga. – A new school record and two trips to the podium marked Georgia's fourth day of competition at the 2025 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships Thursday at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium. Through four days of competition, both Georgia teams remain in fourth place with the men tallying 463 points and the women claiming 441.5 to date.

Men's 400y IM – Graduate Jake Magahey earned his third bronze medal of the week.

Men's 100y Butterfly – Redshirt senior Luca Urlando took second, earning the ninth SEC medal of his career.

Men's 200y Freestyle – Sophomore Tomas Koski set a new school record with a fourth-place A-cut time of 1:30.70, breaking the mark of 1:30.72 set by Matthew Sates at the 2022 NCAA Championships.

ATHENS, Ga. – The ninth-ranked Georgia softball team run ruled the Buffalo Bulls, 11-3, on Thursday to open the 22nd Annual Georgia Classic at Jack Turner Stadium. Georgia stays unbeaten on the season at 10-0.

ATHENS, Ga.-----After five road games to start the season, eighth-ranked Georgia is excited to return to Foley Field for its home opener Friday against UIC (University of Illinois Chicago). Due to extreme cold and windy weather in Athens, the season opener was pushed back a day. The Bulldogs (4-1) and Flames (1-3) will play a Friday doubleheader at 1 p.m., and it will be the first time the fans get a look at the latest upgrades at Foley Field that underwent a $45 million renovation. Game two against UIC will follow approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The #12 Georgia GymDogs will travel to Columbia, Mo. to compete against No. 8 Missouri in the Hearnes Center this Friday at 8:00 p.m., ET.  Due to a scheduling conflict, the GymDogs will no longer travel to the Clemson Meet on Friday, Feb. 28.

NORTHBROOK, Ill. – University of Georgia women's indoor track and field junior Kaila Jackson and women's swimming and diving senior Abby McCulloh have been selected and nominees for the inaugural class of Allstate National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletic (NACDA) Good Works Winter Team.
