Acute ACL rupture per the medical report.  Surgery to repair is scheduled for Tuesday morning.  Feel terrible for him.  He has worked so hard to get bigger and stronger in order to be a better ball player, and was starting at SS and batting lead off.  Now he is out for the season.  Freak incident, cleats stuck in the infield clay as he was trying to run down a base runner.  He has a good attitude, and is anxious to get the ACL repaired and begin rehab.  Kid absolutely loves playing baseball.

I feel for him. Baseball has a cruel price of admission sometimes. And it’s crazy how it happens
