Harrison. He is 6'4" and 195 and growing. Fast, quick, throws well on the run, and an escape artist.
Out of East Hall/Gainesville, Ga.
Fine bassetball player too.

RABBITTOWN, Ga. — All you need to know about East Hall quarterback Jamarcus Harrison is this … left, right RS button, up RS, triangle, R2, circle.
Yes, the senior quarter is a human PlayStation 5 controller, and if you’re left scratching your head, here’s what all those controls do on the EA Sports College Football 2025 video game… juke, truck, sprint and spin.
Yes, he did all that Friday night while amassing 219 yards rushing,176 yards passing and five total touchdowns — four rushing and one passing -- to lead East Hall (4-5, 1-3 Region 8-3A) past West Hall (3-6, 0-4 Region 8-3A) in a thrilling 42-35 finish at East Hall Stadium.
“He is man. You know, so many times I tell people, just when we call a pass play, an RPO because he can take off at any moment,” East Hall coach Matt Turner said. “People think they got the angle on him. They don't. They underestimate his speed, he'll make you miss, and then he also runs physical. He's one of the best players in North Georgia and maybe one of the best in Georgia. He is a heck of a player, and I am proud of him tonight and all he did.”
Of Harrison’s four rushing touchdowns, his 52-yard scamper, which gave the Vikings their first lead of the game, 20-14, in the third quarter, and the game-winner, a 29-yard scramble, were his two most impressive touchdown runs.
He also had several feature photo runs, including back-to-back sprints that ended with him crashing hard on the sidelines before finishing the scoring drive with a six-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter to take back the lead. Then he converted the two-point try to go up 28-21.
Kid might be able to save Bobo's and Smart's jobs.
Despite the red and black Vette, Curtis may be fading into the lusty arms of the Oregon Nikes.
Jamarcus Harrison: The 2026 QB Prospect You Need to Know

Gainesville, GA – If you don’t know the name Jamarcus Harrison yet, it’s time to start paying attention. The 6’4”, 185-pound quarterback out of East Hall High School had a breakout junior season, proving he’s one of the most intriguing dual-threat QBs in the 2026 class.
Harrison isn’t just a passer—he’s a playmaker. He threw for over 1,700 yards and 18 touchdowns last season while adding another 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground. His ability to extend plays and make defenders miss is what separates him. Whether it’s turning a fumbled snap into a touchdown, making throws on the run, or delivering off-platform passes, Harrison has the ability to make something out of nothing.
What’s really impressive is the leap he made from his sophomore to junior year. His completion percentage jumped from 49% to 54%. His TD-to-INT ratio improved from 10-12 to 18-8. And his rushing numbers? Nearly doubled. He was the heart and soul of East Hall’s offense, carrying the team both through the air and on the ground.
But Harrison’s impact isn’t limited to the football field—he’s a force on the basketball court too. As a captain, he’s led East Hall to an impressive 22-5 record, and his athleticism is on full display every game. He does it all—blocking shots, posterizing defenders, knocking down threes—just like on the gridiron, he’s a playmaker in every sense. No matter the sport, Harrison finds a way to take over and make an impact when it matters most.
Schools like Georgia State and Kennesaw State are already showing interest, and if he keeps progressing, expect even bigger programs to take notice. Harrison has the size, athleticism, and raw talent that college coaches can mold into something special.
With his senior year on the horizon, he’s only going to get better. Don’t be surprised if his name starts popping up a lot more in recruiting circles. Jamarcus Harrison is the real deal.
