Tracy, Haley, and Carson agree to dump his number 15 and

ride with 11 in Miami. They did not want 13 as it is unlucky and felt it is bad luck to be superstitious.

Mario Crystal Ball says thru Yardbarker:

Recently speaking with the media after the first practice of spring ball, though, Cristobal put a spin on things for Miami.

How are things with Beck so far?

“As positive as you can have without actually having any kind of participation in live drills,” Cristobal said (h/t On3). “The things happened so fast and that one certainly happened a little bit faster and with less familiarity than the previous year, and so all that stuff I would say relationships and leadership, they do take time but everything from initially has been super positive. We’re really excited to see him healthy and working with our guys at full speed.”

Beck is expected to start throwing later this spring and the expectation is that he'll be fully ready to go by the start of the season. Whether it's in the next few weeks or next few months, though, the Hurricanes certainly have high expectations for their transfer quarterback.

“He’s athletic, he’s smart, he’s got superior arm talent, he’s accurate, he can extend plays, he can also sit in the pocket, he runs well,” Cristobal said. “He’s a great human being and he’s demonstrated leadership qualities. He’s really hard on himself, he wants to be great and one of his best qualities is that he wanted to be at Miami.” Dodgy

I have zero ill-will towards Beck. I would have been fine with him coming back. Just didn’t seem to fit. I hope he does well and has a 10 year NFL career.
