Wouldn't go there if you paid me. NOPD has done proven recently (night before Sugar Bowl) they can't protect the quarter from terrorists.

30 or more years ago I would have enjoyed being in the thick of the crowd on Bourbon Street. Now, the most I would want to do would be to sit on a balcony and watch the craziness go by below me.

I've been there enough times when it wasn't Mardi Gras to tell me that I wouldn't enjoy being there during.  I watched that Earthcam for a few minutes and saw someone pushing a baby stroller and carrying around a baby in that craziness.  The kid was barely old enough to hold its head up.  Some people don't have a lick of sense.

I never cease to be amazed at the inappropriate places I see people with babies and small children.

I spent Fat Tuesday evening attending Revival at Parkway Baptist and listened to C.T. Townsend
expound on the Prodigal Son. That fellow can flat out preach.

Was in NO a few months back. I'll never go again. Trashy, druggies sitting on the sidewalk stoned, filthy, terrible. A waste of time and money.
