COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Georgia Bulldogs (19-11, 7-10 SEC) defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks (12-18, 2-15 SEC), 73-64, on Tuesday night at Colonial Life Arena. Three scorers reached double figures headlined by sophomore guard Silas Demary Jr.'s 16 points on the night. After Demary Jr.'s 16-point performance, fellow sophomore guard Blue Cain followed with 14 points while freshman forward Asa Newell finished with 11. The Bulldogs' have now won three-consecutive SEC games for the first time since 2017. Georgia outrebounded South Carolina 37-23 on the night, winning the scoring battle in the paint 26-16 while also outscoring the Gamecocks off the bench 24-9. The Bulldogs will return to Athens for their regular season finale where they face Vanderbilt on Saturday, March 8 with tipoff set at 12 p.m.

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia's Silas Demary Jr. was one of five players named a National Player of the Week on Tuesday by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) in association with the Oscar Robertson Trophy. Demary Jr. led the Bulldogs to victories over No 3 Florida and Texas last week, posting a pair of 20-point performances.

ATHENS, Ga. – Fifth-ranked Georgia men's baseball extended its winning streak to 11 games with an 8-4 win over High Point Tuesday at Foley Field. Georgia matched its longest winning streak since 2014 (11 games) with Tuesday's victory. Georgia continues a 13-game stretch at Foley Field Wednesday when it faces Georgia State. First pitch will be at 3 p.m.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. —Chantal El Chaib led the Bulldogs with a 2-over 73 individual effort as the Georgia women's golf team moved to 12th place after the second round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate on Tuesday. Georgia remains 24 strokes back of the lead with 18 holes left to play. The Bulldogs are just three strokes back of Alabama and Ohio State who they are paired with at 9:10 a.m. on Wednesday, teeing off of hole 10. The Bulldogs look to rise up the leaderboard on the final day of competition on Wednesday.

GREENVILLE, SC - Georgia women's basketball travels to the SEC tournament in Greenville, S.C., to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in the 12-13 matchup. Tipoff is at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET Wednesday. This marks Georgia's 46th appearance in the SEC tournament and the first as the No. 12 seed. The Lady Bulldogs have won the SEC tournament title four times (1983, 1984, 1986 and 2001). Wednesday's matchup features the second meeting against Arkansas this season. Georgia won the first contest in Athens, 62-61, thanks to 28 combined points from freshmen Trinity Turner and Mia Woolfolk. Woolfolk finished with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds. The Lady Bulldogs are the only SEC team to have two true freshmen (Turner and Woolfolk) to rank among the team's top three scorers and the only squad to have a pair of rookies on the 2025 SEC All-Freshman Team. Georgia's five freshmen make up 47 percent of the team's scoring.

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia women's basketball freshmen Trinity Turner and Mia Woolfolk earned spots on the 2025 Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday. Georgia is the only program to land two players on the All-Freshman squad, marking the first time since 2010 the Lady Bulldogs have had a pair of student-athletes in the same season earn All-Freshman honors. 

LAS VEGAS, Nv. - Georgia men's golf finished the Southern Highlands Collegiate in 15th place and +48 over par while Auburn was only team under par at -9 at the Southern Highlands GC.
