AUBURN, Ala. – Junior Renato Calderaro and sophomore Matthew Bray clinched NCAA Championships berths on 3-meter Monday evening at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center. Bray finished third on 3-meter, adding the event to his NCAA program after qualifying on 1-meter Sunday. Calderaro clinched a trip to nationals for the third-consecutive year as he placed sixth. Due to placing eighth on 1-meter, the Rome, Italy native will now compete on both springboards.

ATHENS, Ga. - Fourth-ranked Georgia, riding a 15-game winning streak, plays host to East Tennessee State Tuesday at Foley Field. First pitch will be at 3:02 p.m. The Bulldogs (18-1) are batting .321 with a 4.28 ERA and a .979 fielding percentage. ETSU (12-3) owns a .334 batting average, a 3.38 ERA and a .972 fielding percentage. After the ETSU contest, Georgia opens SEC play Friday by playing host to No. 23 Kentucky (12-2). The Wildcats boast one of the nation's top pitching staffs with a 1.88 ERA. Game times are 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia's Asa Newell has been named the the SEC's All-Freshman Team in balloting of league coaches. The conference office announced the men's basketball awards on Monday afternoon. Newell, a 6-11, 220-pound forward from Destin, Fla., has started all 31 games for Georgia this season, notching 28 double-figure scoring outputs including four 20-point performances. He also has six double-digit rebound outings and six double-doubles. Newell has led Georgia offensively 19 times and on the boards in 14 games.

ATHENS, Ga.  -  Georgia's Ryland Zaborowski has been named the Southeastern Conference Baseball Co-Player of the Week; the league announced Monday. Zaborowski, a 6-5, 250-pound graduate infielder from Gilbert, Ariz., batted .438 with one double, six home runs and 18 RBI in four games last week. In the series sweep of Columbia, he had back-to-back games with two home runs and seven RBI. Currently, he leads the nation with a 1.170 Slugging Percentage and ranks second in home runs (10) and RBI (36) while batting .447 in 16 games.
