#1
One of the five receivers Georgia signed in the 2025 class will be out for the rest of spring. Tyler Williams announced via social media that he has sustained an ankle injury the resulted in torn ligaments. The ailment will require surgery according to Williams’ instagram post. That surgery will take place on Monday.

At 6-foot-1 195 pounds, Williams was rated as a three-star prospect in the 2025 class. He spent most of the cycle with a four-star rating. He was the No. 462 overall prospect per the On3 Industray Ranking, a weighted average that includes all four websites that publish recruiting rankings. He was the No. 68 wideout in the country and the No. 61 player in Florida.

Georgia had to battle Miami down the stretch for Williams’ signature. The Hurricanes made a strong move but the Armwood High School product stuck to a commitment he made in June, signing with Kirby Smart and company.

When the dust settled on the 2025 class, the Bulldogs signed a quintet of wideouts and four of them enrolled early. Williams was one of those mid-year enrollees. Georgia also welcomed five-star wide receiver Talyn Taylor and four-star prospects CJ Wiley and Landon Roldan in January. Thomas Blackshear, a four-star prospect, will join the program this summer.
