We gotta have rules, but---WTF?

I had heard that the intrepid FBI has a unit that monitors internet bullying. I dismissed it at first, but it is a fact. I don't think Elon has downsized it yet.

I checked with DOJ sources I work with on occasion, and they said most complaints are for wrongful censorship by message board moderators.

I did a quick survey of friends who posted on various boards, and over 50% said they have a lifetime ban from one particular outfit. Some say they were banned for making a conservative political post. One was banned for posting a medical photo of a burn patient after a crack pipe explosion. The photo was harsh reality but was not porn at all. The burns were horrible but were a good reminder that drug usage is ruinous. The mod involved is being investigated by the FBI unit.

The mod was rumored to be from Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, or some such place.

All this is rumor and may be bulls hit. But I can believe it.

Ol'Tommy Jefferson would be aghast.

There’s a fine line between free speech rights and private property rights.

It’s why I wouldn’t argue with a liberal at their house, unless they’re doing something that endangers me or loved ones (or propagandizes children). Even then, if possible, I’d rather just leave.

My dad said I started arguing when I got to the age of 15. The only arguments I ever won were in mute court or real court. I only won because a judge and/or jury said I did.

The loser of the arguments has never, ever been convinced I was right. Now in the midst of my super-annuation, I just smile and walk away. It seems to save me a pile of bullets.

Is "mute" court anything like moot court or is mute court some sort of court or hearing where people without the ability to speak litigate disputes?

To directly answer your incendiary inquiry, in a word---YES.

No one has...  Presided over by Judge Helen Keller.

The question is moot.
